Tap the Share button (iOS) or menu (Android)

On iPhone/iPad: Tap the Share icon (the box with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of Safari's address bar.

On Android: Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in Chrome's top-right corner.

iOS: Scroll down in the share sheet and tap "Add to Home Screen".

Confirm the installation

A dialog will show the app name "EasyJobsAI". Tap Add (iOS) or Install (Android) to confirm. The icon will appear on your home screen.

Launch and use offline

Tap the EasyJobsAI icon on your home screen to open the app. On mobile, the full interview coach interface is available — use it to prep answers before an interview, review your tailored resume, or practice common questions.

How to use EasyJobsAI

Follow these steps in order the first time. After setup, you only need to do steps 3 and 4 for each interview.

Upload your resume

Click the Profile tab in the side panel. Either paste your resume text directly into the text area, or click Upload PDF to extract it automatically from a PDF file.

  • Open the side panel by clicking the EasyJobsAI toolbar icon
  • Go to the Profile tab (person icon)
  • Click "Upload PDF" or paste your resume text
  • Click Save Profile

Add the job description

Find the job posting on LinkedIn, Indeed, or any job board. Copy the full job description and paste it into the Job Description field in the Profile tab.

  • Open the job posting in another tab
  • Select all the job description text and copy it
  • Paste into the Job Description field in EasyJobsAI
  • Click Save Profile

Get real-time coaching

During your interview, switch to the Chat tab. Type (or use the microphone to speak) the question the interviewer just asked. Hit send and get an instant, structured answer.

  • Switch to the Chat tab (speech bubble icon)
  • Type the interview question or tap the mic button
  • Press Enter or click Send
  • Read the STAR-formatted answer out loud, naturally

Generate a tailored resume

Go to the Resume tab to generate an ATS-optimized version of your resume specifically matched to the job description you saved.

  • Make sure your resume and JD are saved in Profile
  • Switch to the Resume tab (document icon)
  • Click Generate Tailored Resume
  • Review and export to PDF using the download button

Pro Tips for Live Interviews

  • Keep the side panel open on a secondary monitor or to the right of your video call window
  • For phone screens, open the side panel on your desktop while using your phone for the call
  • Use the mic button on a second device (phone/tablet) to transcribe questions hands-free
  • Practice common questions the night before by typing them in Chat — the AI remembers your context
  • If you get a technical question, type it exactly and prefix with "Technical question:"

Is EasyJobsAI free to use? ▾
Yes, completely free. The app uses Google Gemini AI which has a generous free tier. You don't need any API key to get started — just install and use it.
Will the interviewer know I'm using an AI assistant? ▾
No. The side panel is only visible on your screen. In video calls (Zoom, Google Meet, Teams), your interviewer only sees what you share — the side panel is on your local browser, not in a shared screen unless you explicitly share it. For phone interviews, the assistant is on your computer screen while you talk on the phone.
Does it work on Zoom and Google Meet? ▾
Yes. Open your video call in Chrome and keep the EasyJobsAI side panel open alongside it. The two run independently in the same browser window. Just make sure you're not sharing your full screen — share the meeting window only, not your entire desktop.
Is my resume data private? ▾
Your resume is saved locally in your browser's extension storage and optionally synced to the EasyJobsAI server to power AI responses. It is not shared with third parties. The AI model (Gemini) processes the text during a request but does not permanently store it.
Why does it only work in Chrome, not Firefox or Safari? ▾
The side panel API is a Chrome-specific extension feature. Firefox and Safari use different extension architectures that don't support persistent side panels in the same way. On mobile Safari you can still use the PWA version, which gives you a full-screen experience.
What happens if I change jobs or apply to multiple roles? ▾
Simply go back to the Profile tab, paste the new job description, and save. The AI will immediately start tailoring all answers to the new role. Your base resume stays the same — only the job description needs to change each time.
